This is a catalogue of an exhibition of Danish product designer Verner Panton held at the Opera City Museum in Hatsudai, Tokyo in 2009. His futuristic designs and sense of color, which are different from the commonly known Scandinavian mid-century, have influenced various views of the future. This book contains representative works from each period, and the bookbinding and page design are excellent. The plastic case has a miniature of Panton's most famous work, the plastic Panton chair.
