This is the only album by German synthesiser player Christian Von Eschersheim, released on the Sky label in 1980. Using Moog, clavinet, Fender clavier, Hammond organ, Moog Bass, Syn-Drum and other instruments, the album features library style’s synth pops and nostalgic, spacious new age/ambient electronic music. The title track A3 sounds as warm as the soft rays of sunlight on the beach at dusk, just like the jacket photo. Sky has a strong image of psychedelic/progressive rock and electronics, but the fact that they also release romantic new age music like this shows the depth of their nostalgia.
