This is the only album released by the German synthesizer player Christian Von Eschersheim in 1980 on the Sky label. He utilizes instruments like the Moog, Clavinet, Fender Clavinet, Hammond Organ, Moog Bass, and Syn-Drum to create a library-style synth-pop sound and a nostalgic, leisurely New Age/Ambient electronic music. The title track, "A3," is a warm sound reminiscent of the soft rays of the setting sun on a beach, just like the cover photo. While Sky is often associated with psychedelic and progressive rock, as well as electronics, it's evident that they also released reflective New Age works, showcasing the depth of their musical repertoire.
