An album conceived in 1973 with the purpose of conveying the charm of Australia. Drummer and prolific composer John Sangster, active in Australia's jazz scene since the 1950s, undertook the composition. The concert orchestra led by him performed the pieces. The album features a thrilling jazz-funk reminiscent of a hard-boiled film soundtrack in B1, a Brazilian-flavored composition in B5, and a mix of Bossa Jazz in A4/B7 with an adult atmosphere. A6 presents a nostalgic melody accompanied by the cries of birds. The entire album offers high-quality lounge music, making it a hidden gem. Recorded at the Multi Media Pty. recording studio in Queensland and utilizing the Ampex MM.1100 multi-track tape recorder distributed by Rank Industries Australia, the recording took place in EMI's studio in Sydney with excellent sound quality. Highly recommended.

A4: Boy Meets Girl
